The Dynamic Power of Listening

Hey Y'All!!

Went to a workshop today on how to prevent bullying in schools. Lots of good information, and one of the things that came out was the importance of LISTENING.

Those of us in education, marketing or counseling already know this - we took the courses - but we sometimes forget to practice what we preach.

Our egos get in the way, or we somehow think someone else is less important than we are, or we just get too busy.

Imagine what can happen when someone - who has never been taken seriously before - is listened to...

What kind of genius can be released?

What kind of passion and compassion can be set free?

What kind of catastrophe can be avoided?

Then think of someone you know (and there is someone) who is thirsting to be listened to...

How will you change his or her life by really giving them your attention?

How will your own life be changed by being someone with superb listening skills?

Are you a teacher? Parent? Best friend?

Someone is waiting for that magic moment when their world opens up...

And you hold the key.

Have an awesome week,
